With our consult and implementation service, we do an upfront audit and analysis on your site, create a detailed action plan, book in a call to discuss implementation in detail.

This is our most popular service and generally will provide the best result in terms of speed optimization as action items are customized specifically for your site AND deployed in a manner where the risk of each change is taken into account.

Example Audit Action Plan

Action items provided are tailored specifically to your website with the reason for each optimization and the risks associated with each change provided in advance, before any changes are made.

Most sites will typically have a handful of specific issues or core problems that are causing speed issues. The action items to resolve those issues are classed as “priority items” in our action plan.

We’ve optimized nearly 5000 sites since we started in 2016 and over the years we’ve developed our own optimizations to squeeze as much speed as possible from Woocommerce sites, affiliate sites and using alternative triggers in Google Tag Manager to minimize the impact of third party marketing tools and heavy apps like Livechat apps. Most of the data Google provides on Core Web Vitals metrics is an average or based on groups of pages. While that data is useful, it’s usually not specific enough to generate insights or action items that actually move the needle.

Our custom built Vital Signs Tracker app tracks core web vitals data for every page load so we can get highly specific speed data on a page by page level that we get drill into using the same segments that are available in Google Analytics (click to enlarge)

Implementation options

There are 3 options for implementation with this service:

1. Your team can handle the implementation and we can provide email support
2. Our team can implement the work in over the course of 1-2 implementation sessions (typically over the course of a week)
3. Our team can implement the changes or work with your team on implementation over a 4-6 week sprint where a handful of implementations are planned and deployed each week with a weekly checkin call to keep implementation on track.

How It Works

We run your entire site through our specialized testing tool that crawls all pages of the site looking for errors and anomalies and then produce a report on our findings and based our recommendations on that. We then schedule a time to discuss in more detail and lay out an action plan to move forward. Our team can do the work or we can work in conjunction with your existing team.

The speed testing for this service covers all pages of your website, not just the homepage. (NOTE than in some cases it’s not practical to crawl sites with several thousand pages so using a subset of pages will be likely what we do)

Timeline & Getting Started

To get started, hit the Order Now button on this page, choose your implementation option and complete the checkout process.

Once the checkout process is complete there’s an onboarding form with the information we need to get started.

Logons & Access To Your Site – *Ideally, we want WordPress admin level access and access to your hosting admin console BUT we can complete the audit without these. Many of the sites we work on would be classified as enterprise sites or are sites with a tight change management process so we understand if it’s not practical to provide admin level access.

Once your onboarding form is submitted we’ll typically have our audit done and action plan back to you within 4-5 business days. We then schedule in a call to discuss the action plan and implementation in more detail.

If you’re purchasing the simple implementation typically action items can be completed the following week depending on the back and forth required.
