Speed Up & Optimization Advice – Micro-Consult

Our Micro-Consult service is for webmasters, designers and developers who have already done some speed optimization but are stuck and need some advice.

It includes a detailed 5-10 minute video review of your site and associated speed tests that identifies and explains the highest impact changes you can make to improve your site speed or solve the problem you’re stuck on.

We get a TON of emails asking for advice on how to speed up WordPress sites or how to resolve a particular pain point that relates to speed.

These emails typically come from web designers, web agencies, marketers and webmasters who have some level of technical ability and are tasked with speeding up a client website or their own website and are stuck on a particular aspect of speed optimization. They don’t necessarily need our full done-for-you-services but at the same time need a way to move forward.

Our Micro-Consult service is designed to address this problem.

Order the Micro-Consult, tell us where you’re stuck or what your goals are and we’ll review your website and speed tests and provide you with a detailed 5-10 minute video walk through of your speed optimization opportunities or how to resolve the particular problem you’re stuck on.

Anything else I need to know?

YES!

Many sites we see are using are poor hosting provider – at best they’re using a low to mid quality host. (Godaddy, Bluehost, Hostgator, 1&1 and Network Solutions are all “budget” hosts that are cheap but perform really poorly).

If you’re serious about speed you ideally want to look at a high performing host. The hosts on this list of The Fastest WordPress Hosting Companies are all significantly faster and won’t really cost you much more than your existing provider.

For most clients we usually recommend Cloudways (https://cways.net) – they provide dedicated, speed optimized VPS servers with an easy to use admin console starting at just $10 USD/month AND have something like 60 locations to choose from across the world.
